Default Speakers not working

Went and washed my truck this morning, speakers were working fine. got done washing it and not a single speaker works. The head unit has power and it shows were it is playing the CD, just no sound is coming out of the speakers. Any ideas what it might be?

Not to be confused with a wise guy, but did someone press a mute feature on the head unit?

No, I checked that. Luckily we had a head unit from one of my moms explorers in our garage. Swapped it out as a temp till I get around to getting a new one. She had a 6 disk, but it won't load CD's... If it is not one thing it is another

on most ford radios if you hold down the preset 3 and 6 at the same time it will do a speaker check. it will test all 4 or 6 or how ever many speakers in the truck one by one.

So are you saying that the Ford Explorer's headunit works, and the F150's doesnt?

Washing your truck on the outside should have nothing to do with the stereo on the inside, unless you cleaned the inside when you did the outside. If the factory does work, you did make some sort of adjustment to the aftermarket head unit. Now that you have disconnected the power to it, the aftermarket unit should have returned to the factory defaults. Try it again, if the speakers work with the factory unit (minus the cd changer).

Yes, the explorers worked and the f150's didn't. Might try the reset thing.

My radio gave me a code after I did the 3 6 preset speaker check. The code was "CDDJ"

Anyone know what the code means??
