Default Speaker size in Super cab??

Just a quick question about the back speakers in a super cab. Are the speakers the same size all the way around or are the back ones different than the front? Just saves me from taking the back door panel off thanks.

Correct. From what I've read, you can also replace them with 6.5" round speakers with the use of an adapter plate. I just replaced mine with 6x8s.

Unless you wanna cut the factory wiring, you'll also need two packs of these:

Yeah, 6x8 and 6.5" components will fit. Are you going to be running an amp for the fosgates? if so just run new wires for the rear, it's crazy easy, the front is a whole nether story lol

I agree I amplified all four of my Rockfords and the back is fine but the front is a pain. You can go thru the molex connector but it's hard to do. I gave up and drilled into the wall and spliced into the rubber boot. Just used rubber grommets to avoid chafing of the wires and siliconed everywhere to prevent any water entry.

But Rockford makes good speakers. 6x8 is the size.

I never got this, I know you have to have an amp for subs, but why would you have to amplify the door speakers? Does it just make them sound better?

Yaa I'm not amplifying my speakers I have a kenwood head unit then I want to put 4 Rockford fosgate punch p1682s, two 10" Rockford Fosgate subs and a Rockford fosgate amp. I just wanted to make sure the speakers were the same size all the way around
