no just the 04+ 5.4 with the "special plugs" i've done about 20 and get the best results when the truck sits overnight and the heads/plugs are at room temp, then 1/4 turn lots of motorcraft carb cleaner/ pb/ any penetrating oil, soak for 30 min then they come right out.

Any thoughts?

Holy ****** man that's highway robbery I can get the plugs for $11 a piece at Napa, and a shop here in CO Springs wants $150 to do the work thankfully I have a mechanic buddy who'll do it for the traditional military currancy

To anyone curious about doing this job yourself and saving some cash I wrote up a little how-to on this topic. https://www.f150forum.com/f72/how-sp...-3v-v8-116291/
I followed this link and it was a piece of cake. 3 broke, but they were not hard to get out with the tool. Just have an assortment of extensions and the Lisle tool, and you will be fine. A vacuum is helpful too, so when you use the tool, and break up some of the porcelain, you can vac it without any falling into the cylinder.
