Default Spark PLUGS!!!!

So I tried to remove my spark plugs, and I failed, I have half stuck in the head, and other half in my hands. I tried getting it out with a tool kit but the electrode is too long and then I tried pulling the electrode but it only came out so far. I am now clueless on what to do?

That's a common issue on the 3vhsv motors lisle makes a tool to remove them. I know the dealership gets the motors good and hot then use a 1/2 inch impact gun to take them out. Hope this helps

You gonna feel even worse when it breaks off on you. Then you have to have it towed to FORD to fix...

In reading his post, it sounds like some already have.

The lisle tool should be his next purchase to remove the broken ones.

I took mine to the dealership to be done. They were cheaper then all of the local shops. The service manager explained to me that since this is a known problem, ford subsidizes the tune up cost. No matter how many plugs break off, they price is the same. They told me that 6 out of the 8 broke off on mine. Cost was $600.00 to repair.

Default Spark PLUGS!!!!

Changed mine and broke 4 of 8. Broke the first 2 with an impact and then started the 1/2 turn out 1/4 turn back method and broke two of the next 6. Lisle tool was as quick as taking the time to work them back and forth. I just hated the idea of anything falling into the cylinder. The ones that broke I blew a lot of air into the head to remove anything that may have remained after the lisle took usage. Wasn't as bad as you may think. Def worth 600 to do it myself.
