so i'm looking to change out my plugs since i bought The Green Monster used. she's an '07 lariat 4x4 w/ the 333ci flex. i've heard horror stories of the plugs notoriously breaking in the heads. is this really a huge issue? how can i prevent it? and what plugs should i get? i assume that these are the original plugs since she's only got 40000mi on her.

 

You should not have any issues. I believe Ford started using nickle anti-seeze in 06. You can change them for piece of mind if you want.
