Default Spark Plug Wire Set Recommendations

Hello Gentlemen

I'm looking to replace my original OEM spark plug wires now that I've hit 150k miles. I'm looking for quality regardless of price as I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Recommendations??
Would be grateful to hear recommendations on new plugs too if you have strong opinions for/against any one in particular.

your truck doesn't have spark plugs wires. You should keep running the stock coil on plug units if that's what's in there, but maybe check and clean the boots and springs and maybe replace the boots if needed. They are better than any aftermarket parts.
The current plugs I believe are the motorcraft sp546 plugs.

Yep, if you need to replace any coils because they have failed, go with OEM.
If your coils aint broke, don't fix it.

Agree with earlier posts. Definitely replace the springs/boots if/when you do the plugs. Pay special attention to connection of spring/coil.

Fordtechmakeuloco on YouTube had great videos. Check them out if you haven’t already.

Someone hasn't been checking their oil... (I say this because if he was, he would see that there are no plug wires)

Did you buy this truck new, and have the original plugs in it?

id recommend researching plug issues regardless, but it they’ve never been changed, and you are doing it for the first at 150k, then I’d definitely watch as many YouTube videos and read as many 5.4 3v plug threads on the forum as you can before you start the job.
