Is it a 5.4? Before I had mine done at 74000, I couldn't go over 3000-4000rpms because it would miss like crazy. Now, runs great and pulls hard. No missing anymore. Also, mine had no electrode left on the plug so I'm surprised mine ran at all... 4 of mine broke

Mine were replaced with the champions. Some say stick with motorcraft plugs but I haven't had a problem with the champions. In my opinion at 101k miles its beyond due.. and more than likely the plugs will fix your problem since it was similar to mine. Keep us posted on how it goes. And best of luck to you with the plug change. I'm guessing you have the removal tool right? If not, get it before you start!

I had a local mechanic do it. Took mine like 6 hours I believe. Luckily only 4 broke... I wasn't going to deal with it lol

I have a V6 and my plugs were not that hard to change. Why are the V8 folks always complaining about plug changes? Are they that much different? Someone please explain.
