Default Spark plug removal tool recommendations

Hello all
Wa just doing regular maintenance on my 200+K 2005 F150 5.4 when one of the spark plugs did not come out completely, the porcelain did not broke but somehow got separated from the metal tip that goes inside the cylinder, any suggestions on what is best tool to remove it? I search the web and found two tipes of removers one that uses a glue and the other one that pushes the porcelain out but since I have no porcelain left and is just the metal tip, not sure what route to go.

Thanks in advance
Luis
Left spark plug is the one missing the tip

If you zoom in you can barely see the metal tip in there

Never had this myself, so this is just what I'd try.

I think the only thing holding that piece is the carbon attached to it and the hole. If you can move it, you could try a magnetic tip tool. If not you could try putting a screw into it to grab it, break it loose, and pull it out. Use a long screw with a long thin wire wrapped around its head so the piece doesn't drop into the cylinder. You could also spray some WD 40 in there to loosen it up, then work it loose enough to remove using a long pick.

Just my 2 cents worth. Others may have know better ways.

The pusher tool should work.....it has a tool to push the porcelain and another tool is included to tap into the shell stuck in the carbon. Check videos to see how they are used.

Default Plug pusher tool

Had the same issue in my 07 4.6, the spark plug pusher tool worked great for about 90% of the plug, an idea if that doesn't work is to slip a long thin metal hook under/through the tip of the plug and twisting normally. It may loosen that way, you'll need to find a length and thickness that works for the 5.4 but it did the trick for me. (make sure the piece is well broken free or else you wont have the leverage to spin it if necessary.)

I bought the Lisle one on many recommendations, and I actually never had to use it. Looking to do plugs soon, hopefully I’ll still never have to use it.

Had two sparkplugs break in my `05 5.4. (I've got the Scab FX4)
Why yes, right at the firewall - how did you know?
(Alright, I'm still bitter about it)

Bought the Lisle extractor, and after some leverage issues, cranked the screw-extractor into the snapped off metal sleeve until it wouldn't move. Assuming yours aren't rusted in like mine were, it should come out pretty handily. If they are, and if needs be, use a cheater bar and turn till you hear the crunch. If it isn't going down, it means it broke free.
.
Will likely end up looking something like the pic below:
