Default Spare tire...

If I am upgrading to 33" tires, I assume it's a good idea to put the same tire on the spare? Will a 33" tire fit under the bed?

Not sure of fit, but be careful to inspect the attachment cable so it will hold the increased weight. I had a spare fall off of a 97 Blazer. The Blazer came with a mini spare and I replaced it with a regular tire. The cable broke right where it attached to the "T" bracket which passed through the wheel. when I put the full size tire on the cable appeared rust free and in good shape. The full size tire lasted a year or less. Not sure where or when I lost it and hope it rolled off the road with out causing any damage...

Not necessary. Just same circumference.

Not an issue on these trucks as the cable is stainless. However, the other parts can/will rust out.

That is good to know. When I had the tire down to pm the fp module the cable was "shinny", but that is how I remember the blazer's...That was about 5 or so years ago.
