How much were all the spark plugs and COP?

Default truck

How many miles are on your truck? I have the same model year and engine.

Why don't you use the overdrive on your truck, why run it in the lower gears?

It sounds like you are talking about a torque converter lock up. When you go to 55 miles per hour tap your brake while still pressing the gas. this will disengage the lockup. If you feel a shudder a few seconds after letting your foot off the brake again, then I would say you know it's the torque converter. The linings sometimes come apart in the torque converter itself or the solenoid may be faulty.

I think my truck has 155,XXX miles, not sure on the exact number since its dark out right now and I'm inside.

I'm not quite sure what the overdrive does, so I leave it alone

Ok, I'll be able to test this on Sunday, thanks for the information. I also found a small bit of information saying it was the torque converter thinking it was in a different gear or something like that. I just had the transmission rebuilt back in march so if it's a transmission problem then that's good because it will be covered by warranty

I'm looking for an opinion or a thought on what someone thinks it could be, I'm not looking for someone to play my dad and tell me what I'm not supposed to do with something that I bought
Hitting that button turns your overdrive off - so unless you press it every time you start your truck, then you're always using o/d, as everybody does. Only reason to not use it is if you're towing or hauling. Works in conjunction with torque convertor lockup to run efficiently and boost your mileage.

You're pretty quick to shoot your mouth at somebody who is pointing out the most likely culprit to you, especially when you say you don't even know what O/D does.

This would of been useful info a few pages back...I'll bet it's your tranny or Torque converter causing the shudder...take it back to the shop that re-built it...tell the you have a shudder...

I originally posted that information but then it wouldn't post so I redid my post and forgot to post that information, but I didn't think it was that relevant because it has only happened this past month and it got rebuilt 8-9 months ago

I was quick to run my mouth because of the way that the poster said things, he was trying to make a point that I'm taking it in and out of overdrive which is not the case, and he's telling me to stop looking for problems, which is wrong too because I'm trying to diagnose a problem.
