Exclamation someone please!!!

i really need a helping hand here. i have a 2004 f150 and this morning i drove it to work. after a short time there i needed to come home for a few things. when i tried to start the truck again nothing happened..except for i can hear a constant fast pace clicking sound coming from my gas tank. the anti theft light is blinking at the same fast pace and the only dashboard light that comes on is the air bag light. no matter if the key is in the ignition or not this happens. i can not take the truck out of park, and if i touch the brake, the clicking and the flashing stops but i still can not crank the truck..no lights on the dashboard at all. im thinking it has something to do with the anti theft system. any ideas would be appreciated. thank you

I don't know anything about the anti-theft system but are the headlights working when you turn them on? If so, are they strong and do they stay on if you push on the brake pedal at the same time?

Lightbulb

Maybe after he shut his headlights off there was still enough juice to crank it up.
