Default Some wheel math help

I just installed 1.5" wheel spacers on my OEM 20" wheels(20x8.5, +44 offset). I like how they look.

I would like to eventually get aftermarket wheels, they are 20x9, 0 or +18mm offset options. I believe the +18 will be more tucked than my current setup, and 0 will be out more. I don't want to be more tucked than I am now so 0 offset looks like there I want to be.

From my quick math I think the 0 offset wheels will stick out 9mm MORE than my current setup with OEM 20's and 1.5" spacers.

Is this correct?

You are correct. Right now you've got an effective offset of +5.9mm. Given you will also have a wider wheel, you MIGHT get a little extra there (1/4") as well. I would go with the 0 offset if I were you. My final setup on my '07 was 35x12.5 Trails on 20x9+20mm Fuels, with 1.5" wheel spacers. So effectively I had a -18mm offset, however I did cut out a bunch of plastic and some of the metal ridge inside of the fender well. All under a Rancho Quicklift level.

Cool thanks. I'm leaning toward running 305/55r20's, would this look better on a 20x9 or a 20x10 wheel? I see people running them on both width's.

Honestly, your width isn't going to change the way the tire looks by much. Mostly I would look at the amount of depth you want in your wheel, and what your future plans are. If you're planning to lift, I'd go with a 20x10. If you're planning on staying at a level, then either one would more than suffice.

You may not like the way a 305/55 looks under a level. It's a little smaller in all aspects than a 33x12.5.
