solution to fuel gauge issue
So my gauge has been getting stuck on full I've dropped the tank and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I tested the sender and that was fine. Cleaned the connections and thought that solved my problems until it stayed on full after a fill up. So on my second time dropping the tank i figured it out! the float was stuck on the tubing that runs through the tank. The plastic tab that holds the tubing out of the way has become week so the hose was hanging in the way. So my solution to my fuel gauge problem was some fuel resistant plastic weld. How annoying!!
so if anyone is having the same issue, test your sender and then check that stupid tubing!
hope this can be some help to someone some day!
