I bought one of these today and had little luck. Has anyone used one of these with specifically an 05 f150? I am working on misfire troubles. I have read a bunch online but very few reliable sources. Have you guys used one and what do I need as far as keys and cartridges go? Like I said I am hoping to read what cylinders are misfiring. Thank you for any help.

That "brick" as they called it is useless for your model truck. Move up to a Solus Pro / Ultra to see misfires. That brick was obsolete in 2009. Misfires were not an upgrade available for that unit then.

 

Thabks for the help. I actually ended up selling the red brick since it is pretty much obsolete and bought something that can read live data and is free to update. Nice tool that I got for a good price. Thanks again.
