Smittybilt RPD?
I'm really wanting an Smittybilt's RPD Light Bar but I can't figure out how it mounts on the bumper. From the pictures it looks like it bolts at the ends right through the bumper, but I was wondering how sturdy that is. It seems that it would only be bolting through the fiberglass. I emailed them about a week ago to ask how but I haven't gotten a response as of yet (it is Christmas though so I understand). Just wondering if anyone knows or has one close up pictures would be great.
Here's the cheapest I found it:

I just went through this debacle on which light bar. I read that the RPD requires drilling. You have to drill through your actual bumper, which is metal, not the upper bumper molding which is plastic, not fiberglass. In the end I went with the Smittybilt Light bar...much cleaner and less flashy. It bolts directly through two holes already in the front...takes 5 mins and it's very sturdy. Very happy with it. I ordered it through Top Gun Customz for $117 shipped to my door.

I also drilled my own holes and ran all the wiring internally.

well i was thinking the rpd because a little more protection, but then again it's only 1.5" thick. I'm not sure how protective that would be with much of anything besides like a stray branch or so. Any other opinions?
