Default Sliding rear window

Ok I took out my standard rear window on my 2006 f150 and installed a OEM ford rear sliding window with rear defroster. Got the window working great but rear defroster isn't. It had the connector behind the seat and I installed the new climate control with tear defroster switch but it's not working. If I press the button it lights up then off. What am I missing? How do I get the rear defroster working? Can someone please help do I need to add anything?

unless the window needs defrosting, the system will turn off. sounds like its working fine. you may have to wait and see at first frost.

Is there any chance this was an option that needs to be turned on through one of the truck modules before it will work? A while back I had a truck with a radio that could be controlled by the steering wheel which I didn't have. Picked one up and all the wiring was already at the column but it still didn't work. Took it to a dealer and for I think was for $80 they turned it on. This was before Forscan which also might take care of this for you if this is your problem.

I noticed yesterday I need relay 4 in my fuse box. That controls the heat back glass but relay 4 doesn't have contacts so I might need a different fuse box

Is K1 in interior fuse box or under the hood?

Yeah the problem I'm have my relay 04 has no contacts so I can't plug one in. I'm trying to figure out if I can change my fuse box?
