Default Simple headliner question

Folks -

I have a Lariat with the light interior, and my headliner has started to sag right above the windshield a little, in front of the driver and passenger side. The rest of the headliner is pristine and I don't want to have to have to replace it for this - is there any easy fix? Spraying glue up in there is likely not going to be an option as it will go everywhere and/or make the headliner look like ***.

I was hoping there might be an L shaped piece of gasket or trim, or tape or something that I could use to press against the head liner and then tuck into the space between the headliner and the windshield that would pull it up and stick it to the foam underneath and not the windshield, any thoughts?

Thank in advance...

Can you post a photo of how bad its sagging?

if its only sagging a couple inches back maybe you could find some of the stuff they sell to put on the edge of car doors to protect from dings that fits snug on the headliner edge like this:
Amazon Amazon

Install it on the leading edge of the headliner, and then use a dull or plastic putty knife to push the sagging liner into the trim to hold it up on the edge.
I honestly have never even looked up there or paid any attention to whether there is already some trim up there or not, but from your description and what I have pictured in my head I would try the above.

I'm not sure there's a good solution. If it were mine, I'd get some spray adhesive (contact kind). Spray on both surfaces, very lightly on the headliner side. Let dry to tacky and use a roller to work your way from the center out. Probably need two people.

I've never seen a headliner repair, short of replacing the entire headliner, that didn't look like crap. It's really not that hard to do, just pull the headliner out and do it right. You'll never regret job done well, but you'll always regret a job done poorly.

I don’t think I need to replace the whole thing as the pics show, it is just on the edge, but it is hanging like a comb-over.
