Default Shuddering/Quick shifting/stalling solved!

Figured I would chime in with another recent repair. I had this problem with my E150 van and my f150. 3 reputable, old school, transmission mechanics told me I need a new transmission. Replaced the valve body on both vehicles, problem solved. I took one of them apart, one of the small rubber ***** was lodged in a port. Apparently this is a potential problem with the 4r70w.

What years were your van and truck and how many miles did they have on them when they started having trouble? What was the very first symptom you started to notice? Was it the same on both?

Thanks...I have 140K on my 06 F150. Was just curious what the first initial signs were of this problem. Mine is still going strong....but getting up there in miles.
