Default Which should i choose

Looking at 315/70/17 over my 285/70/17 both in Goodyear duratrac. I have a 4x4 supercrew with the 5.4 and 355 gears. I am curious as to how much more "stress" this would put on my drive train. What say you?

Well thats almost a 35 inch tire and thats gonna put alot of strain considering you have 3.55 if you had the 3.73 then you wuld be fine you would be slow but you could get away with it but id recomened changing to the 4.56

I was afraid that would be the consensus. I really don't want the headache of regearing. I was running the mtr in 305/70/17 and performance was fair. They don't offer the duratrac in the 305 and I don't like the change to the mtr. Thx guys.
