Shorted brake control wiring
Hi everyone,
Factory tow package:
Believe it or not I sparked the Prodogy brake controller bundle trying to stick it up under the dash (
).
I disconnected the connector from the back of the controller and somehow the power lead hit metal and sparked. I have no power to the Prodogy controller device now. I checked F42 fuse and a 5amp under the hood in a small box (bjb?)-both good.
I have not checked the relay (F5) yet. Do I simply use an OHM meter like I would check a fuse?
Everything else seems to work. I have brake, turn and running lights at the trailer (7 way hooked up of course
).
Is there another fuse around the battery?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
