How do you know when it's time for new shocks? My ride has been a little bit more bumpy and I know I need new tires.

Some people wait until one starts leaking. Uneven tire wear is a giveaway. And manufacturers usually reccommend replacement every 60,000 miles or so. Always replace them in pairs.
