Default Shifting Problem going into OD

Got an 07 F150 KR with 5.4L 2WD. Just started having a problem with shifting into OD. Between 40-50MPH with very light acceleration, the trucks starts to hesitate and buck like it doesn't know if it should shift or not. Doesn't do it at any other speed, nor does it do it with any good amount of throttle. Had the transmission flushed and filter changed. That did not fix the problem. Anyone ever have this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Thanks.

its your overdrive servo snap ring. it most likely is snapped into little pieces and is clogging up your valves. another common symptom to this problem is no engine braking in second gear. you can turn the overdrive off and it drives normally. I have yet to take my pan off and fix mine but I bought the broken part from the dealer for like $5 bucks. all you need too fix is an overdrive servo snap ring and about 8 quarts of trans fluid.

Man, I hate that I just spent the money having the fluid changed. Maybe I can save it and do it myself. I appreciate the info! Thanks!

My brother's truck had a similar problem. Turns out it was the torque converter lockup failing.

This is the problem I had (See video below) .... unfortunately, this was AFTER the transmission was rebuilt by a third party shop. Originally it went in for a whine and that's when I was informed I needed a complete rebuild. I took the truck back three times and the same problem existed that you see in the video (The whine was fixed) .... oddly enough, they replaced almost every part in the transmission twice, including the torque converter, and ended up just putting in a reman on their dime. They still haven't figured out what was causing it... wasn't the TC or rings for me.
