shifter ****

i need to take off my shifter **** and im not sure how to do it. it dosent look like there are any spots for me to take it off. can anyone give me a hint on how to do it?

If it's a shifter on the floor the ford dealer ship told me I had to remove/replace the whole shifter assembly if it's on the column i can't help at all

Post up a pic of which one you have. 8 out of 10 times it's just twist off, but sometimes there a glue inside too you gotta crack. Or if it has a small metal ring on bottom, unscrew that and lift.
