Default Shift Kits

I was browsing through another thread and somebody mentioned that they had a shift kit. I did some research and know what it is and their purposes, but I can't seem to find one for an 08. I'm not even sure what model transmission I have, so I need to check the door jamb. Any help?

I don't think you need an actual shift kit cause our Trans. are electronically shifted by the computer. You can add a programer to your vehicle like an Edge Evolution and set it up to shift harder or whatever you want.

electronically shifted yes, but they still work off hydraulic pressure. the shift kit flows fluid better then the stock vb ever can.

take it from some one who has a shift kit and a tuner....a stock valve body with a tune doesnt come close to a stock tune + shift kit.

call troyer up, i believe they have vb for the 08s

Yeah, the pressure control was the biggest improvement that I read about. A lot of places online claimed Transgo was the best, just their kits for on '07 and later.

I've look for some Troyer products.
