man yall are mean, i bet he is goin to have his dad write all of yall a letter....lol
seriously, you asked for it. i asked opinions for my ride, most were pretty good, nothing harsh and those that were i didnt get pissed, however there was some stupid *** that made comments about things on my truck that pissed me off b/c he simply was ignorant and he did not know what he was saying.
now imo, lose all that chrome junk. i never really liked aftermarket chrome, if it comes factory i can handle it.
it seems as if you want more of a street ride. if so, you should have gotten 2wd and throw on a very mild lowering kit. maybe just 2" drop shackles.
rims, i guess i can handle those, but you should have went with cragar ss rims since your bumpers are chrome. the grille needs to go, the hood scoop looks pretty good with the strips.

I have to admit, I got my first car from my parents, too. It had 140k miles, and they were generous enough to sell it to me at the overpriced KBB private sale value (after my old man was very generous entering the features, condition, etc on the website). The only reason I bought it from them is I was still in college and knew that if I was a couple days late with the monthly payment that they wouldn't call the creditors. I got 3 years and 20k miles out of that with routine maintenance, and sold it to my boss' kid for 500 bucks.

I don't think this poor kid is ever going to log back in to read this. Seems like this turned into one of those threads where our members take turns bashing some misguided modder and congratulating each other on how funny they were in doing it. Meanwhile the person these comments are aimed at quit reading 3 pages ago.
As for the truck the B-pillar chrome should be the first to go. The chrome door handles and bumpers aren't necessarily bad but don't fit with your shelby theme and i'd also lose the running boards. You kinda dodged the 4x4 issue so idk if it is or not. If it's 2wd it definitely needs to be lowered a few inches. If it's 4wd you can still lower it a little but it's kind of stupid imo.

New rims and wheels
New Paint

Lose the extra chrome, hood scoop, fake lettering, and any other barney bolt on items I forgot
drunk to forget this experience

Does anyone else find this to be a completely useless and utterly pointless thread? Sorry if Im about to make waves, but SERIOUSLY?
