Will a shaker 500 or shaker 1000 head unit from a 2006 mustang or other Ford fit in my F150?

 

Mustang head units are Can-Bus activated, so you'll loose a few items at the minimum (dimming, etc). Some members have reported that a dealer can reprogram either it or your truck to gain the functions back, but even if you get the stang head for free, it'll be cheaper to buy a truck head by the time you pay the dealer for the reprogram.
