Default Seat and blower issue

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for reading.

I'm not that mechanically inclined, but want to be better, and I would love to do my own repairs more. I bought a BlueDriver, code reader a while back and it has been very helpful, but sometimes a bit cryptic... I am having an issue in my 2007 F150, The drivers power seat doesn't work, and also the fan for the air vents doesn't work, when I switch the "source" it sounds like something is moving in the dash, but nothing blows. I have checked all my fuses with a voltage meter, and I had one burnt out that I replaced, that fixed the OBD2 reader and the cigarette lighter, but every other one tested fine.

I scanned with my bluedriver OBD2 reader and it told me I have a U1950 (status :stored. UBP communications Bus Fault, and a B1318 Battery voltage Low fault.

I was wondering if anyone had any similar problems and easy checks, or somewhere you could refer me too, or if I need to go to a mechanic.

Thanks everyone, its great to have helpful people around.

Old thread but since no replies... did you get this fixed? This is one of those problems that can linger. If you haven't fixed it yet... sounds like broken wires. I had U1950 and a VSM code in my 2007 fx2 since I bought the truck until I checked the wires going into the driver's door. Was trying to find out why my window lock was permanently engaged regardless of the rocker switch position. Pulled back the rubber loom between the door and the interior and found 4 cut wires and a couple that were about to break. I fixed the breaks and finally u1950 went away, and my windows started working.

Really tough to diagnose but try tracing back the driver's seat wires. You can use your voltmeter to test for continuity from one side to the other too. Good luck.
