Default Seafoam

Heard and read a lot about seafoam! I am considering doing seafoaming my truck, but I am not sure how to go about doing it? I've read that you pour it in the gas tank and in with your oil? What's the best way to go about doing this? I am at 92,xxx miles and I'm due for an oil change.

Following the instructions, it's one ounce to one gallon of fuel. For my truck, I added one 16oz bottle to a half full (15/30gal) tank. Didn't hurt, but I certainly didn't notice any major changes for the better.

I've heard put it in the gas tank, oil, brake booster line. So many options. I just figured it would be good to try this time around since I'm do for an oil change.

I wonder about this... I mainly want to do the oil and through the brake booster.
I wonder if it's snake oil or not. I mean I have 83K and if you haven't been doing it from the beginning, is it too late?
I was wanting to do my GF suv also, its a 97 with 149k

Soon as you open the bottle you know it isn't snake oil. Nothing that potent could run through an engine, brake booster, etc, and not clean something. Whether it's a universal cure-all like they claim is prolly a case-by-case basis.

I just put a bottle in the ole lady's 96 Yota with 199,000 on the odometer. Can't wait to see how this tank goes.

Its not all its hyped up to be...I sell the stuff like its liquid gold and my boss swears by it. He uses it in his 03 Cobra every time he changes the oil but I put it in my 05 GT a couple times and it literally did nothing. I didn't notice any changes for the good or bad.

It's not something that I plan on using on a regular basis like that. I figure once every couple of months to help keep things clean.

I did mine yesterday successfully, before I changed the oil.
Poured half a bottle into a bowl and sucked it through the brake line booster.
Then I shut the truck off.
Next I poured the remaining evenly in the oil fill cap and gas tank.
Then I let it sit (still off) for about 10 mins.
Turn on the truck and reved it to about 5k for a min or till the thick smoke is gone, then go for a drive. Done.
Pretty easy and hard to mess up, I'd say. This is my third time seafoaming since I got the truck. I noticed smoother idle and slightly better throttle response (even after the diamondbird trick) after the treatment.
Good luck with yours.

This is exactly what I do and I agree. It definitely feels to be running a bit smoother.
