Can you share email tunes? I have a SCT xcal 3 anyone have tunes?

 

I have the sct3 also and I believe the tunes are truck/PCM specific although I could be wrong

 

Nope, you are correct.

 

They are very vehicle specific. There are hundreds of different strategies for the 04-08's. Should you flash someone else's tune onto your truck you would get the unrecoginzed ECU code and a no start. Possibly could fail while flashing....then it would really suck

 

Unless someone sells you an email tune, then if the other vehicle has the same engine code you can load it to a clean xcal

 

Thanks everybody for the info I bought a use xcal3 and it has some tunes from the other truck. Guess I should just order my own then.
