I can't say for Edge as I've never used that particular one before but the SCT units are pretty badass. Then again, I might be a lil biased too. :-) Should you decide on a SCT, give me a holler as I'm currently running a SCT group buy for the forum and might be able to save you a good chunk of change.

I have and don't. Sct doesn't play well with windows and the screen died on mine a few times. The edge is a much better piece especially when php tunes it.

I have an SCT X3 that is still married to the Explorer I used to own. I forgot to take the damn program out before lettting it go. Anyway I'd sell it for $100 and SCT tells me it's $150 to have it reset. So if you want it you can have it for $100 + shipping. I'm running a Diablo Trinity so the SCT isn't doing me any good sitting around.

Ok good luck with the edge I hear they are good programmers. Oh and I hate rude posters. If only you could reach through the screen and pull them out just far enough to Knock them the Fork out. lol

I have the edge cs and sct2....... The edge is best hands down, in the canned tune department..... The sct2 will let you tweak a bit more then the edge and let you data log, which is a definite plus. However, I didn't like the way the transmission shifted with the SCT xcal2, at all. I also didn't think it gave the same power and throttle response as the edge canned tow tune did.
The sct works, and a custom tune would probably make it shine, but since you have seamless dash integration, live PID displays, great customer service, legendary PHP custom tuning, and great canned tunes, it's edge FTW!!

Php can be a pain to deal with but find me a tuner who isn't.

Truer words were never spoken.... PHP is a ford Tuning specialty company, they've got roots with edge that trace back to its inception. Sure, you gotta wait for a tune from them, but if you want something done right the first time, then you got get with the program and do your part too, which is wait. Patience truly is a virtue that so few seem to posses... Waiting is not hard, and is logically necessary for a good, stable, taylor made tune.
