SCT p0607 code when changing shift pressure

Got my SCT 3015 today. Filled up with 91 and tuned the strategy. Whenever I tune the shift pressure I get a p0607.
Options that don't change
91 octane
JLT cai
First I tried
WOT shift -3 for all 3 gears
Shift pressure +20 for all 3 gears.
This ran terribly and my tranny would chug on acceleration and it through a p0607
So then I tried
returned WOT shift to 0
Shift pressure to +10 all 3 gears
Again the transmission did not shift right, chugs and through a p0607
So then I returned to stock
ran fine
Then I tried
JLT cai + 91 octane again
shift pressure +5 all three gears
Battery got too low to start, and had to get a jump.
After the jump it started but through a p0607 code again a few minutes later.
Finally
I tried
JLT cai
91 octane
shift pressure 0 (stock)
Ran good without any codes. May be my imagination, but the shifts do seem firmer at WOT then stock, hard to tell when the roads are icy.
The first thing people are going to say is get a custom tune. I will but I want to save up and get my exhaust first and then a custom tune.
Is it possible/likely that my trans just doesn't like the strategy tuning. Right now after throwing so many codes I'm not looking to make changes that may damage my trans, but was interested in some feedback.
This is my first tuner so I'm not experienced in this, but I am experienced at the internets. Nobody seems to really talk about strategy options though, anytime anyone asks everyone just jumps on the get a custom tune train.

Truck ran like junk this morning and through 2 bank too rich codes. Removed the JLT cai setting and its running like a champ now.
Shift points are definately more responsive and firm without modifications to the shift pressure so the SCT flash must be doing something there by default cause I was spinning tires going into second and the shifts are a lot firmer.
Now that I've got it to stop throwing codes I'm super happy with the SCT. Hated it when it was throwing codes, made me nervous and I almost went back to stock, now that I got it figured out I'm very happy with it though.

It was probably the JLT CAI setting.. I tried it with my Volant CAI and threw a rich code within a mile of driving... If you are weary of damaging the truck, just reset your canned tuned to its basic levels, and then incrementally adjust everything slowly.
Thanks.
