But what about me! I'm the one who stated a boycott was viable, and bit my tongue against the naysayers.. Yet here we are, a few cancelled orders later, and the price is adjusted..
I'd like to give EVERYONE HERE props for taking the time to discuss it, for concluding it was too pricy, and then acting accordingly.. It was a very mild boycott indeed, but it was still a form of consumer activism wether people want to admit it or not..

That makes more sense. That way it isn't a slap in the face to those who were put on the list and promised a grill (seemingly at a price similar to the old price).

Looks like they are still happy to sell the grill at the $299 price. But if you ordered one back when they were half that price, yea they kinda have to honor it. Selling a few at the old price is the right thing to do, they will make enough money on these at the $299 price to take a hit on a few. The "boycott" has helped you and a few other, that's good, but the rest of us are still looking at $299

Though it's $300, I've been looking high and low for this grille. There are grills out there that go for over $500 and people do buy them. The way I see it, may as well grab it now while it's $300. Because I foresee if I wait, they discontinue it for a bit, then raise it to $600. Then I wish I would have gotten it for $300.
