roush grille

Default roush grille

hey guys just got my roush grille in for my 05 screw i read the instructions and on one page it said i had to drill holes at the bottom to insure of proper fitment exc.. if anybody can chime in on this those of you who have the roush grille what did you do did you drill the holes and use all the brackets and equipment that came with it?

Huh? Can you post a pic of this grill, or a link to the site that has one? The Roush grille has always been a popular addition to these trucks. There was a guy here a few years back that bought them (fomoco44 I think) and made lowers to match the Roush upper grille. They were a direct swap; no drilling.

I'm guessing that the grille your mentioning is different from what I'm used to seeing from Roush.

I have had this grille on my truck for a couple years now. I did drill the holes and used all the brackets that the kit came with. I think since the grille is so heavy, you would have quite a bit of movement if you did not secure the bottom. See the pictures to see how it looks. One thing to keep in mind, the kit came with some clear rubber feet to place on the screw heads. Even though when you close your hood it does not look like they will ever come in contact with the bumper cover, they will. Use those clear bumpers so you do not scratch the cover.
