rough idle, stalling when in Drive...
Living in a snowy climate can create problems at times, went down the to check on a job i was working on and on my return the truck started to die under power.......had to "feather" the accelerator all the way home.
Checked the fuel and had no signs of dirty fuel, changed the fuel fliter and applied some "seafoam" to the tank to help in these cold conditions.
I don't have a scan tool, so it makes it hard to fix...but i am thinking it is the MAP sensor as i disconnected it and the engine died.

What are your thoughts on the matter ?

If you disconnected the MAF sensor and it died ...that means it's working, but it may need cleaning...grab a can of MAF cleaner at your local auto parts and remove it...2 screws and give it a blast...I would also suggest cleaning your throttle body..not as easy as the MAF, but not hard either...you will need throttle body cleaner for that also can be bought at your local auto parts store...suggest you check the condition of your (FPDM) Fuel Pump Driver Module located under your spare tire and it could be corroded to your frame rail and also causing you problems...good luck and let us know what you find.

I feel like this should be copy paste by now.
Techrep ! Thanks for the advice mate.... found the FPDM was badly corroded, big hole on the backside of the unit and you could see the inner workings.
The Truck is running great now....have ordered a scan tool to help out with future problems that come up.
Thanks again...
