rough idle found .. and why i got a 0430
I had 2 going bad injectors. On drivers bank I probed then while motor was running . They sound like there barly working. Not clicking a thump or double light click. Gonna replace the 4 on that bank. .. how long does it take for fuel system to depressure before removing rail..

Since you have an 05 and they have a history of sticking open I'd just replace all of them, but that's me. You can depressure the system by taking off the fuel filter if it needs changed too or just wait a few days. You're going to get some gas no matter what when you take them off so have towels at the ready. Oil the O rings going back in and you'll be good to go.

Thanks Otto. I do wanna replace them all.. picking up the first 4 today. On bad side 2 weeks the other 4 .. I got Borg warners from O-Rileys. For 33 each. I called ford they wanted 65 each
Do u pull off rail with injectors attached or pull clips off first and pull rail leaving the injectors. And pull them one at a time

Question, I am new to the 04-08 F150 5.4L. Bought an 06 with 118,00 miles on it. How do I tell if the injectors are gong south??? I do have a mechanics stethoscope.
