Just had a local shop replace my transmission on my 05 supercab and noticed that now when starting the truck it has a noticeable rough idle for about 5 seconds then evens out. The battery was disconnected. I'm hoping it's just one of those things that has to work out but I'm sure with my luck. The plugs phasers vct etc etc have all been changed by the dealer prior to me buying it. Besides smoking the transmission reverse gear I didn't have any issues prior to this. Thx in advance

 

If they did not do the battery relearn process, you may have intermittent idle for a couple of days, it would be faster for you to do the process now and be done with it instead of waiting for the computer to relearn over the next couple days.
