You're good. IMO, it's better to remove the entire throttle body rather than cleaning just one part. More thorough.

I have been following the whole thread. And keeping track of possible solutions. I'm kinda looking at the preventative before it gets worse. Like I said its not that bad yet. But maybe looking to try possible solutions

Always do process of elimination. Don't just open the wallet and start throwing dollar bills at it. lol Start with tune-up, work your way up through the chain.

My father in law suggested some contact cleaner and use it on the throttle body to clean it up?

Mine started out almost un-noticable, but slowly got to a point where I can feel it through the steering wheel.

CRC makes a throttle body cleaner that works well for me. Be careful using harsh chemicals and abrasive tools. Ford uses a thin film like coating that helps prevent carbon buildup and harsh chemicals can take that little protective coating off. Best tool IMO, toothbrush

Brand of cleaners. Your local auto store will have it. I would try, it's free for the most part and a good preventative/peace of mind thing to do. As carbon builds up on or around the butterfly, messes up you fuel/air mixture and can cause rough idle..even stalls.
