Default ring an pinion

what size is the ring in the rear end of a 5.4 3.73 limited slip? 10.25 0r 10.5? its a 6 lug truck.

I'm not real sure what you're asking...
It's an 8.8 rear diff. So 8.8"

5.4 with 6-lug have the 9.75

If its 7-lug it's the 10.25

Some 4.6 have the 9.75 but most along with the 4.2 have the 8.8 rear end.

The front axle if you have a 4x4 is a 8.8 and you will need reverse cut gears for the front.
