Default Right Hand Drive Conversion

I would love to import a late f150 supercrew Lariat.

Does anyone know of anyone or company that would be able to convert the truck once purchased to Right Hand Drive.

They can be bought here in OZ but everyone wants way to much money for them.

I have already imported my boat so am familiar with that process.

You can find companies by searching online but I do recall back when I had a customer move here from England when I worked for Volvo that I had to research how much it would cost to convert their S60 to left hand drive. They would have had to spend close to $8000 USD. An entire dashboard is no inexpensive peice and relocating all the SRS wiring is also another issue. The passengers seat (right seat on US spec trucks) have a weight sensor in them to determine if the airbag will deploy on that side in the event of a collision based off the weight on that seat. The drivers side seat does not. This would also need to be relocated.

Not that it can not be done, but I would assume that the conversion will cost an arm and a leg. It's not like a boat where all you have to do is move the console and relocate some linkages for the throttle and steering.
