Default Reverse sensing system, false reading

Washed my 2005 lariat today here in Minnesota. Temperature was 20 F. But now two hours later the reverse sensing system is giving a solid tone. As to say I'm going to hit something. The sensors are clean and dry. Anyone have a suggestion on what maybe the problem? Never had this problem before.

Disable the stupid sensors. If you actually need them, you shouldn't be driving a full size truck in the first place!

Make sure water or something isn't inside the sensor I've had water droplets run over my sensor and give me the solid tone.

ALWAYS happens to me after washing at subzero temperatures (celcius)! Personally, I love having the sensors! But yes, if dirt gets into the ridges or water freezes on them (especially int he ridges) they will go solid. You need to park in a warm area, use a heat gun or similar.

If the wiring is shorted anywhere, it'll disable after 4 seconds not send a solid signal. Even at close distance, the pulse isn't a dead short so the system can detect a failure. There's 3 wires to each sensor: positive, negative, signal. If ANY sensor doesn't send a signal back, it auto disables, if any sends a shorted signal back, it auto disables. So in your case it's most likely frozen.
