Default Reverse Noises

Ok guys, need some opinions on my problem. When my truck is in reverse it has a horrible clunking/grinding noise coming from the front end and only happens in reverse. Any help would be appreciated.

Not necessarily, check your front-rear's differential fluid level. Universals would make it do that in forward and reverse. Mine shudders real hard in reverse, my u-joints are good and I pulled out the driveshaft, to my surprise there was No grease at all in the yoke. It helped a little but the truck is going to the trans shop tomorrow, they think it could b a planetary gear.

Pull the front wheels and check the brake mounting bolts (look on the inside of the wheel for any rub marks). The caliper and mounting bracket move when the vehicle is going in reverse when the bolts are loose or missing.
