Hey guys I recently put a 6" lift on from rough country. The kit reuses your struts and puts the spacers on top. Now I'm kicking myself for not figuring another option first because I have this brand new suspension underneath with these 10 year old struts. If I'm going back under to replace the struts, I want longer ones and get rid of the same spacer. This possible? Or at least a taller strut with a smaller spacer?
Have a body lift on too so it sits pretty evenly at 9" right now. Thanks!
Why not keep your springs and just get new struts ? I have the 6" Rcx also and I'm planning on just replacing my 8 yr old struts. Nothing wrong with mine just want to have new ones.
I could. I just figured if I'm going to go in there again I kinda just want to replace it all. And I'm really not a fan of spacers. I hate how these company's have pay so much money for a kit that reuses old suspension parts. I loved lifting my jeep because nothing old went back in and the kit is less than half the price!

you can go with some coilovers. just be careful as to where you set them. the RCX lift if I remember correctly only drops down to like around 5" but does achieve 6" of lift with their spacer. so if you were to put 6" coilovers on technically you'd already be putting the suspension in a bind as if it had a 1" spacer installed. how they used to be but may of changed in the last few years. you could adjust the coilovers up to 1.5" to be equal to a stock suspension geometry with a 2.5" spacer.
