Default Replacing front passenger hub for the 3rd X

I wonder if anyone has had issues with the front passenger hub. This will be the 3rd time I have to replace. The reason I know is because the whopping sound increases with time. My mechanic does replace the whole hub assembly and that will last about 2 yrs. I have an F150 XLT single cab with about 140,000+ miles on it. I don't drive it hard or make hard turns. I have a friend who had the same issues. After several replacements, he gave up and traded his truck. If anyone can give some advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

What brand bearing are you using? Stock suspension? 2WD/4WD? Last alignment?

As far as the questions already posted, I am not in the rust belt but my mechanic did use Auto Zone product. Which now gives me somewhere to look at. Also, my tires wear themselves fairly even in front but that too gives me an idea to have the front end check. I appreciate the responses.

Cheap parts will most likely be your answer.

If it is an Autozone "brand" they use lesser quality to get the better prices.

Buy a quality product and be done with it.

I am in the same boat as I cheaped out and bought a Doorman exhaust manifold. I have already replaced it under warranty for warping and 2 months later it is leaking again. I am now on the hunt for a free used one to have milled flat again.

I tried to get my money back on the Doorman but no dice. They will warranty it as it is still under a year but I am not going through that level of work again just to chance that this one will last.

Get you a top shelf bearing like Timken, National(Moog), or SKF and you should be ok.
