Yea. I bleed them again with a power bleeder and I did the ABS bleed procedure twice. All good now.

I also drove the car between bleedings to cycle the brakes a lot. I think that helped.

truck brakes awesome now has a completely new brake system minus the lines. 😎

Been driving 60+ years all over the USA. I don't need abs . I will delete it in an instant if it gives me trouble . I will send in pcm to delete it and pats system . If you drive right you avoid hydro planning and don't drive like an idiot . I have driven before power steering -power brakes they are nice and worth keeping .
Air bags are dangerous and I am on the fence about them ,my friends just had theirs go off with out good cause . They sustained injuries and had serious breathing problems for many weeks - no accident involved . That chemical is very bad stuff . unfortunately my friend who is 83 stayed in the car too long -dazed and got it worse than his wife who jumped out quickly ,but nobody tells you all this stuff ahead of time .

I am with you redfishtd, I am 84 and have been driving since the early 50's without all this junk that can kill you if it screws up. Drive like a sane man and we will live.

Default Programming

I am having issues with 2006 F150 brake and abs light staying on. I have already replaced rear abs sensor, inspected wiring, replaced front abs sensors, rotors and brakes. I ran across this site that reprograms your abs module, upfix.com I have not tried them yet so can’t speak for their work.

The ABS computer module should only be a couple of screws, if you don't have a constant ABS light indicating an issue with the current module, I'd just swap them and hold onto the other as a spare

If the abs light is on, then there should be a code stored that might give you a clue.
You need an OBD2 reader capable of this. Perhaps the ones at places like AutoZone check it for you for free.

There is no way you can 'pump your brakes' out of hydroplaning.. because (wait for it) what you are doing is the EXACT SAME THING as the ABS module does.

Stop spreading nonsense. ABS and airbags are revolutionary safety advances.
If you're hydroplaning ( wait for it) maybe slow down on the wet and slippery conditions like they tell you to do. You'll stop better without ABS on deep powder snow ( if you have winters) the tires will dig in .
