Default Replacement wiring harness

Anyone have experience with "OEM" engine harnesses? Specifically where did you get it and was it an OEM match?

Tasca is adv 480$ for OEM.

My secong thought is to have a wiring guy copy one and make it milspec, more money more reliable.

Any experience please share.

What issue do you have that would prompt a wiring harness replacement? That a lot of work and building one would present may issues especially with the connectors.

Well the oem harness connects to the ecm and the engine sensors, injectors, and coils. Not that much other stuff in the engine compartment it hooks to so I'm not sure what benefits you are looking to get from a custom harness?

what are you trying to do to the truck? Seems like an OEM harness is not needed?

Thanks for the responses guys vague OP my bust. OEM harnesses work fine for normal applications this is an offroad truck. Heat, water, corrosion, flex, lots of reasons they tend to be sub par for specialty applications. Looking for a suitable alternative.
