Default Replacement 9145 led fog light bulbs?

Do they make a fog light Led replacement bulb #9145 for a 2006 ford F-150?Are they any brighter than the standard fog lights bulbs?If so where can I purchase them?Thanks,coobie

9145 is about the brightest with out the risk of melting your lens

9005 bulbs will fit, and they don't melt anything in the 04 - 05 fogs.. The 06+ fogs may be prone to melting since the housing is much smaller. But in both applications you should really consider splicing in some heavy duty bulb harnesses.. They are cheap and will prevent the bulb socket from melting..
If you go with a 9005 led then you won't have to worry about the heat as much an incandescent bulb.

I just ordered Putco 250010W LED replacement bulbs for my truck. I won't be able to install them until I get home from Afghanistan.

These are the leds I was looking to buy.Has anyone tried them yet?Any better lighting verses stock fog lights?Thanks, coobie

I'm running them now. More of an appearance thing - 5K to match retrofit HID's.

Stock lights ( with 9145 SS, etc ), offer more usable light, IMHO.

i bought mine off a member on here who sells them, Nick Patton.

they are pretty sweet, high powered LED's that throw some serious light. id say they are around 5k-6k in color
