Default Replace motor mount with manifold change?

Just wondering why it is recommended to change out the motor mount when doing a manifold job? Could lack of doing so be the cause of so many people having bad luck with non OEM manifolds ?

Why would you just swap one motor mount.. where did you read this ? Or are you doing both manifold’s.. then it mite make sense depending on your mileage.

I’d only change it if it showed signs of wear. They’re just doing suggestive selling to make more money off you. Failure rate of a non OEM manifold is not related to changing out a motor mount.
