Default Removing Stock Decals

Hey guys, Was just curious i wanted to get rid of the stock 4x4 decal on the sides of the box, is there anything special i need to do? can i take the right off and the paint will be fine?

Peel it off, use a hair dryer or heat gun and it'll go a lot easier. Just be careful not to bubble your clear coat with a heat gun. I removed my stock FX4 decals this way and replaced them with flat black 2009 ones

X2 Careful with the heat gone and just take your time. its an easy project.

I used my finger nail. The decal tends to rip easily if you don't use heat to assist it.

or to avoid burning your hand... you can also grind down the end of a paint stirer to a wedge... This way as you go, the sticker will stick to the wood...

sweet sounds good, i was thinking about going with just the bare look, but i didnt know there were other decals, any cool ones out there?

i just found the closest thing I could to stock..... thats what I wanted... but there are a lot out there, just google it.

but remember... stock ones are like $40 each...

If you still have some residue left over from the decal use some Goo Gone on it. GG works great.
