Removing back wall cab insulation?
My "new" truck is a regular cab '06 XL, and I'm trying to find ways to maximize my in-cab storage options. I thought I want to remove the plastic lining on the back wall, so I could use magnets to hang stuff up back there.
Problem is, there's some fibrous material that I assume is insulation, for climate control, and probably to reduce noise from outside. Anyone gotten rid of that stuff? How much of a difference does it make?
Or should I just hang some peg board back there?
