Default removed Cats, getting o2 sensor code.

Hey guys
I removed my cat's when I installed long tube headers and new exhaust. I keep getting my o2 sensor code brought up, obviously. I was wondering if the o2 simulator sensors would be better or the the extension that pushes the sensor out of the exhaust? Also with running, with the code on it seems that I have been needing to change my spark plugs more recently, wondering if that would have to do with the sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you know your plugs boots need changed by all means go ahead. Analyzing this engine with bad plugs is almost impossible . Too confusing . Do a hosp clean plug job . Torque all plugs 25 to 28 foot pounds by wrench not by feel . Combustion starts with the plugs ,o2 will go crazy if thats bad . Plugs /boots are your baseline but only if done right .They will last 60k no more but that's a lot compared to the old days .You do know that your grandkids are going to have to breathe that stuff. Most of us try to do the right thing --just sayin .I am 73 my friends are on oxygen some have passed because after 100% oxygen help they can't do anymore . I do believe only electric cars will be allowed within 20 years . China is a disaster --LA too .

The spark plug non fouler that is used to extend O2 sensors out of the exhaust stream works. I can tell you that from experience.
